Does anyone know if very man international applicants (specifically those outside of hub areas) have received invites yet? I just got an email today saying my application was "now under review." I live in Africa by the way (no nearby hub cities). Still haven't received an invite and just as worried as everyone else...

Do we know the nationalities of last years' calls? I mean i know 17 is a small number to draw any conclusion out of but any indication and analysis is better than just empty thoughts while we wait. :)

Interesting. I never received that e-mail. What was your status PRIOR to receiving that e-mail?

You got a letter from Stanford today saying your application is "under review"? When did you apply? I thought Stanford does not send these "under review" emails. I haven't received it. Has anyone else here?

I think the intention was to post this on the HBS thread (HBS sent a your-app-is-under-review) email yesterday and caused a number of heart palpitations. Stanford hasn't sent anything except invites, to my knowledge.

Would you please tell us what time exactly did the invites arrive in your inbox ?
Do they always send out around 6:20 PM ?

And once you got the invites, they gave you how long to schedule an interview with the indicated alumni ?

Thanks so much.

Thanks d3xc for the prompt answer ! I assume you are based in the same time zone as Stanford ?

@peachapple said he/she received the invite at 6:11PM EST, which is 3:11PM PST, right ?
So it seems there is no rule for the time the invites are sent out ...

Hi,

With regards to my earlier post - I have got 3 dings w/o interviews.

Waiting for Stanford now. Any suggestions on a good rejection feedback agency - admission agency.

regards,

So that's it?
Two invites and we need to wait another couple of days to get new invites?

This is really going to be a very long wait!

yes, mine came around 6:30 EST, so that would be 3:30 PST. it is a two week window to schedule.

strange fact... a friend of mine who applied r1 and got a late interview invite (a couple weeks before the notification deadline) sent me his email and it had a little disclaimer that talked about how competitive the application process was and how this is not meant to discourage you but just being upfront. ...or something like that - i'm paraphrasing. my interview invite did not include such a disclaimer. maybe this is something they include only on the later invites? or maybe they just did it r1? no real insight into this, just thought it was kind of odd...

Do we have any Stanford-loving applicants/admits that would be interested in taking ownership of this thread and keeping the roll call updated? PM me if you're interested!

Good luck to everyone in R2 :)
