Helllo everyone,
Age 29/700/113/EMEA. Got an R2 invite last night

Wow, congrats !!! are you based E, ME, or A ? ;-)

Btw, what was the time exactly calculated to PST ? I'm trying to figure out the exact time invites are often sent out, in order to refresh my mailbox with optimal frequency and efficiency ;-)

Congrats awebaba!

Anyone from NY / east coast with an invite yet?

Anyone from a "feeder" industry (i.e., consulting and finance)?

had my interview recently - has anyone else actually done theirs yet? it went okay i guess... hard to judge, there were no obvious great moments or obvious terrible moments. i wonder how they evaluate them, and how much the interview counts towards towards the process.

fyi - for those waiting for interviews, i can tell you now from firsthand experience that the wait to find out the final decision (6 more weeks..omg) is just as excruciating as the wait to get the interview. so... something to look forward to!

ondafi - congratulations!! don't mean to pry, but would you mind sharing some quick stats? simply as a means for us hopefuls to guess if they are reviewing apps in a "batch" format and for us to hope there's still a chance.

(i know, small sample set, not significant, etc. i guess it's just a way to keep the hope alive)

Hey Guys,

first post from me: 26 / 710 / 118/ German Entrepreneur. Applied R2, still under review. How do they conduct interviews with people located in Germany? I haven't found too many alumni around here.

Congratulations to all forum members who already received interview invitations!

Cheers,

Bolton has been quoted saying they aim to issue 800-1200 interview invites each year and typically end up on the higher end, which translates to ~45% acceptance rate (1100 invites, 389 matriculate, 80% yield).

I think the rule of thumb is unless you think you did poorly, odds are slim that the interview is what keeps you out and if you think you did do poorly, you're probably wrong. There is another Bolton quote somewhere about how often applicants call the office concerned by how badly the interview did when they actually got a great writeup.
