Hello
I plan to apply for Tepper Round 2.
My profile: IT 4.5 exp (2 yrs India, 2.5 yrs Zurich)
GMAT : 660 (48 q, 34 v, 5.5 AWA)

I have already applied to NYU, Darden and ISB.
My interest is Entrepreneurship and Finance.

I have seen that Tepper has a very good focuse on technology but can anyone explain what does it mean when we say the courses are very quant oriented.

Is it that for the same subject (say strategy) Tepper will have more foucs on quantitative analysis ?
Can anyone explain please ?

Pats, Tepper's curriculum is not based on the case method. Tepper wants graudates to develop the ability to solve problems that have no precedent. To this end, a significant portion of the curriculum is math intensive (quantitative). The quantitative focus is strong during the first year and might change in the second year with student electives. I found the Tepper staff to be very friendly and helpful. You can address this question to them as well. They have a chat session planned for December 11th, 2007. I hope this helps!

yep....they don't give it out earlier. Donno about the way they communicate though....call/e-mail. Personally, it feels great to get a call...but hell...I'll settle for any mode as long as it is good news !!!

Tepper is a fairly small program I would assume they call. I think most schools like to have a person actually call you to let you know. It personalizes the whole thing more.

From the Tepper website FAQs:

May I receive my decision over the phone, via e-mail or fax?

Our primary means of communicating with all candidates is via email, so please make sure to update your online profile if your email address changes. All admission decisions are released to candidates using our online application system. You will be notified by email when your decision is ready for viewing and you will need your login/password to access your admission decision. A hard copy of admission offer letters will also be mailed to the postal address listed on your application.
