Just heard from McCombs today. Even though I felt pretty confident, I did not get in. Not sure what the problem was, the interview went smooth (actually felt very relaxed), my GMAT is way above their average, have global and leadership/management experience, ok extracurriculars, record of success in my previous enterprises. Noticed that McCombs doesn't have many students from Europe, so maybe that didn't help me either, but who knows... Fingers crossed for all of those who still wait! (and for me to get in elsewhere, even though McCombs was meant to be my safety school).

Thanks! Yes, admissions said they will do another waitlist review in early April, probably in preparation for R3 decisions the same way they asked for updates before the R2 decisions. I'm resigning myself to the fact that I need to take the GMAT again, because should I get dinged eventually I'll have to take it again in preparation to reapply anyway. Hopefully if I can prep/test again and do better before they ask for updates it'll be enough to tip the scale. That's really the only aspect of my application I can change at this point.

I'm in! I got the email notification for me to check my portal at 726am PST. There's no scholarship info on the web, I suppose they will mail it. I've been so nervous waiting for a call (because for some schools email = ding), but that's not the case for Utexas. Posted from my mobile device
