In off the wait list from R2; I got the email at 11:17 CST. 2 more wait lists in the works.
Congrats mb29275!
If you don't mind, can I ask if you are an international applicant?

I am not, although I have lived internationally for 6 years :-D

Hey all

I was a R2 interview and waitlist, and I'm waiting for my final decision this week. It's hard to tell what the status is right now, but it sounds like people in my position have been accepted from the waitlist, denied from the waitlist, and others still waiting. Is that right? Is the fact that I'm still waiting a reason for optimism or pessimism?

I'm R2 waitlist. Still waiting as well. Who knows? Could mean another round of being on the waitlist tho which might be somewhere in between those options.

I know in R2 I didn't find out I was waitlisted until Friday, so maybe they wait till the very end of the week for those sort of notifications? But again, who knows? You are not alone in the waiting game!

I'm an R3 applicant. I'm inclined to think we're all going to be dumped or re-dumped on the waitlist at the end of the week if we haven't heard anything at this point. That's my gut feeling and I hope I'm wrong.

R3 was the last round for the international applicants.
So I think there is no reason to push waitlisted international applicants to R4.
By the way, I am seriously inclined to know the final verdict (accepted or denied) in this round itself as
I cannot afford to wait for one more month.

Looks like just one admit today.
I am distracting myself from checking repeatedly. I've ignored my life in last 3 days hitting the refresh button! But it doesn't look like good news is in store for me. Voice in my head getting louder and saying - wake up and smell the roses! So i'm getting busy with normal stuff.
For all those anxious like me - lets not allow waiting-for-the-adcom mail take over our lives. Things will work out in the long run. Patience is highly underrated.
Good luck to all! :)

Congrats to all the admits!!!

Have any of you received a scholarship notification? Or else, do you know when are fellowships going to be awarded?

To all the people still on the W/L, hang in there. Best of luck!

Congrats Twith!
An idea if they offer scholarship to anyone accepted from the waitlist?
Thanks for your response.
