Is there a school specific set of questions for Kira Assessment or any set for that matter ?

I have been asked by WHU to finish my pre-interview Kira assessment in 3 weeks.

Kartikay1125.. no, there is no specific set of questions but you can login to the Kira link and practice the questions. You can practice as much as you want. The questions will ask you about your strengths, weaknesses, critical feedbacks and how you dealt, team working, situational, etc.

It would be great to know you and your profile. All the best.

I understand. Thank you.
So about my profile,
I am a Marine Engineer, graduated from BITS, Pilani in 2015. CGPA 7/10.
I have been working with Torm, Denmark. Its been 5+ years now.
I have handled high risk marine operations in 30+ countries and led multi national teams of 4-5 people from 10+ countries.
Also, I have been working freelance, consulting with local manufacturing plants in India during my vacations and have helped a few of them in Business sustainability sector and in attaining Operational Excellence.
Post MBA goals - Full time Business sustainability in Manufacturing or Marine sector . But will definitely look for open opportunities in other sectors considering the economic meltdown due to covid.

BTW this is what I heard from Laveshan about his interview debrief :-

The interview was like a standard job interview:

1. Tell me about yourself
2. Why MBA, why WHU?
3. Strengths/Weaknesses
4. Tell me about a time...
5. Questions about your family and whether they are accompanying you (I think this is more to see if you have thought through actually moving to Germany and what it means for your family).

General advice:
1. Be confident but not arrogant
2. Make sure your technicals are sorted out before the interview. Make sure the internet is strong, and no one will be walking in the room to disturb you.
3. Be authentic and honest, they will pick up if you are trying to lie. The interview questions are simple but they are very experienced and can easily spot the deceivers.
4. I wore a suit coat and no tie, I guess any smart business attire will do.
5. Know your CV, in case they ask you anything from it.
6. Know why you want to move to Germany, you must be able to show them you have considered all the factors (if you are planning to work in Germany you will need to learn German)
7. Lastly, prepare in front of a mirror or a camera, you dont want to be umming and aahing, it will show you didnt prep properly. You must talk like you know without sounding practised.

Hey there... I prepared for the interview with Mateo Chang videos on YouTube. It was the best thing I could have found to prepare myself. He has a whole Playlist on every single question you can be asked. It's amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

rohitbeohar :- Answering your query regarding KIRA interview at WHU here.

so tbh I don't remember the exact questions anymore.

But paraphrasing 2 that I vaguely remember :-

One was "What is great leadership according to you"

Second was "If you started or been a part of any initiative - what did you learn through that experience"

You will get 1 min to prepare and 1 min to pitch your answer.

Hi nidhipoddar31 - Yes had a great interview. Was very conversational and very standard but very elaborate I guess.

Same old questions - Why MBA, Why now, Why you, Strengths/Weaknesses, Situational qs on leadership - your leadership style, the role you would play in an academic group etc.

I did stumble a bit on the situational questions. But they were very cool to help me fill the gaps at times.

I wish you luck. Will be a great experience.

As far as I remember :-

1) The role you think you would play in the group setting at WHU
2) Challenges you foresee working in a group at WHU
3) Any challenges/obstacle you overcame in the past
4) How do you motivate your team or how would you motivate your group members at WHU

As requested by @shameek, posting my interview experience here:

It was very very conversational. I had none of the common questions like why mba, why whu. The only traditional question to me was my introduction.

Then the course of the interview was on the basis of the answers that I gave. Most were situational questions like:

1. What is your leadership style.
2. What role will you play in a group setting.
3. How will you make sure each team member contributes equally to the group.
4. What aspects of leadership skill are you looking to improve at WHU.
5. What does your family and close friends think about your decision of pursuing an MBA.

In short, they were actually trying to know how I am as a person and how will I be able to contribute to the community. Since these questions required on-the-spot thinking, I am not able to comprehend if my interview was okay.

I did stumble on few questions and feel that I could have handled them better but the interviewers were nice and made me feel comfortable.

At the end, they mentioned that I should have the results in the next 10 days. Keeping my fingers crossed now.

Let me know if anyone would want more details or help in this aspect.
