Is it possible for me to know the GMAT scores and work ex of candidates who have applied for R1 2010 fall? At least of those in the forum....
Stats for avg. work experience and GMAT score are available on the internet. Check out Business Week. Its something around 710 and 5 years.

Hi guys,

This might be totally out of context but just wanted to know as I am planning apply for fall 2010 R2. Could you please let me know the GMAT Score and the minimum work experience that would put me at a good position to get an interview call from UCLA?

This would be of great help to me.

Thanks,
Arvind

I have 3 yrs of Work, a 670, 6.0 and I had a 3.81 in undergrad and got an interview. So I don't think there's really a minimum. I think as a rule of thumb if you're below their 80% for both GPA / GMAT - I think your chances diminish a little but besides that - it's all you.

Should I officially be worried at this point if I haven't heard from Anderson yet?

How were y'all's interview experience? My alum interview was really unpleasant. She really seemed to be phoning it in--had clearly not even looked at my resume and asked very generic questions already covered in the app. Also rushed me out after 30 mins. Didn't wish me luck or anything at the end, and didn't even acknowledge my thank-you e-mail after. I guess that could have just been her "style," but I thought it was rude and not at all informative. Definitely my least favorite interview!

mbabiden, although I don't know 100% for sure about UCLA, but almost always interviews are conducted blind, which means they do not get to look at your application at all. This is pretty much the case for all alum interviews.

That would be the reason why they ask generic questions, they are trained to ask certain questions to make sure that the interviews are consistant from interview to interview. As for the Thank-you e-mail, you can find threads on that throughout the forums, sometimes they reply, more often they don't reply.

Same question here.

This thread has been awfully quiet lately. Is hope lost for those without invitations?
