Calling all UCLA Anderson Fall 2010 applicants!

Hey, Congrats!! which will it be, Duke or ANDERSON (it's 72 degrees and perfect in LA right now)

Where in LA are you?? Its all gloomy where I am. Its really cold too (60 degrees is cold for Angelenos )

Can't say I'm 100% sure yet, anybody have any advice? (No $ from either) I guess I'll need to be deciding that soon huh?

Hi, I just asked when they called me. (I didn't get any merit $), but she said that they are awarding the $ at the same time as the admit. They're very upfront about whether or not you're getting anything, and very polite.

So, have all acceptances been sent out. . .dying here.

I haven't heard anything yet and I'm thinking that calls will go out the rest of today and tomorrow and then it doesn't look good for us

UCLA will be closed Friday according to their blog.

It's looking more and more like all admits have had their online status updated, so I don't think it's looking very good for the rest of us.

Hang in there guys! They said on the call that they made a few early decisions today, so there could be many more on the way...

Maybe he's in the valley b/c it's chilly on the west side with no sun today.

Anyone call or email the Admissions Office to get a clear cut answer on whether all admit notifications will be sent out today or if more will be sent out on 3/31?

I'm in law school class until 5:30pm so can't!

I called the office and the guy who answered said all decisions will be posted on the 31st... I asked him if admit decisions will still go out after today and he just repeated the same thing....

Anyone in the West Coast got calls? Maybe they are waiting to call us later since we are in the same time zone??? Well... That's what I've been telling myself to keep hope alive

Haha, I'm not sure that really is the case.

I do believe that some more admits might go out on the 31st.

Seems bizarre to create this additional "anxiety" by notifying some early on (especially since those notified today weren't all major $$$ recipients or anything like that).

IMO, if nothing is received today then the chances are pretty slim for positive news on the 31st.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this post but got my admit call this morning! As of now I'm into Cornell and UCLA. Waitlisted at Northwestern. Still waiting on Wharton (interview), Harvard (prob a ding), and Columbia.

I called, too, and (Ronnie) told me that all decisions would NOT be posted until 3/31. I also spoke to an MBA consultant and he told me not to worry b/c I didn't get my interview until late in the process and that if I get in, I'll similarly be toward the end of notification period.

They seem to admit 2 x #matriculate = 720, and there are 3 functional rounds -->they will admit 240 (approx) in Rd2. It will probably take them a few days to make that many calls, and they are closed Friday... so I'm holding out hope for a call Mon/Tues. If no call by Wed noon, well, then I'll try to marry rich.

Haven't heard yet either. I checked the UCLA MBA Blog entries from last year, and they released "small" batches (i.e. not all) of admits 2 weeks and 1 week before the official notification date.
