Sweet, I'm in too. Got the email.

GMAT 740, age 29, CPA, 7 years WE (public accounting, investment management trade support & accounting), bachelor and masters in accounting from a very large public undergrad.

I'm also a reapplicant this year (originally applied for 2008) after raising my GMAT from 670 to 740. If you guys get dinged on your first try but really want to attend to UCLA, be patient and try it again. Just make sure you figure out what needs to be improved. I also hired a consultant who was a tremendous amount of help. I couldn't have done this without him so consider that option too.

Hi, I just asked when they called me. (I didn't get any merit $), but she said that they are awarding the $ at the same time as the admit. They're very upfront about whether or not you're getting anything, and very polite.

UCLA will be closed Friday according to their blog.

It's looking more and more like all admits have had their online status updated, so I don't think it's looking very good for the rest of us.

Anyone call or email the Admissions Office to get a clear cut answer on whether all admit notifications will be sent out today or if more will be sent out on 3/31?

I called the office and the guy who answered said all decisions will be posted on the 31st... I asked him if admit decisions will still go out after today and he just repeated the same thing.... :oops:

Haha, I'm not sure that really is the case.

I do believe that some more admits might go out on the 31st.

Seems bizarre to create this additional "anxiety" by notifying some early on (especially since those notified today weren't all major $$$ recipients or anything like that).

IMO, if nothing is received today then the chances are pretty slim for positive news on the 31st.

I called, too, and (Ronnie) told me that all decisions would NOT be posted until 3/31. I also spoke to an MBA consultant and he told me not to worry b/c I didn't get my interview until late in the process and that if I get in, I'll similarly be toward the end of notification period.

They seem to admit 2 x #matriculate = 720, and there are 3 functional rounds -->they will admit 240 (approx) in Rd2. It will probably take them a few days to make that many calls, and they are closed Friday... so I'm holding out hope for a call Mon/Tues. If no call by Wed noon, well, then I'll try to marry rich.

Haven't heard yet either. I checked the UCLA MBA Blog entries from last year, and they released "small" batches (i.e. not all) of admits 2 weeks and 1 week before the official notification date.
