I've been seeing a lot of posts here for people who are indecisive about UCLA and other schools. My mentors who have been through b-school gave me the following advice:
- Pick a school where you want to work. So if you want to stay in California, going to an East Coast school makes it harder to get notice of local internships and jobs since most companies recruit locally.
- UCLA vs. USC. For an MBA, UCLA is much higher in the rankings for a reason. It's an established program where USC is still growing. If you were a Trojan undergrad, no point in going to the same place for grad school. If you weren't, I think UCLA MBA still holds more clout.
