Same email and got the same message "Your application is complete for committee review." when checked the status.

It certainly doesn't mention an interview... "If your application is marked complete, there is nothing more you need to do. You will receive an admissions decision on the published decision deadline." There's no published date for releasing interview invites. Though I'm sure they are still interviewing applicants. Odd... Not sure what to make of it.

Everyone -Catch this little bit of fun. My application was marked incomplete because they said I did not provide my transcripts, however, it is clearly attached and perfectly readable. The only issue I could imagine is that instead of the University I attended, it names the undergraduate college within the university that I graduated from. According to the registrar, only the official transcript would have the university watermark. I don't know what to do about this considering they have indicated that anything marked incomplete would be bumped to the next round. I have an email into them, but fighting this administrative crap is so annoying....

My status also changed from 'submitted' to 'under review by ad committee.' an email further confirmed this. I think they are just picking up apps - checking them whether they are complete or not and if they are, forwarding them to adcom for review. we don't have to worry about anything just yet. the R1 decision date is mid jan , so there's plenty of time left to expect anything. sit back and relax. enjoy the show
