For round 2 (deadline Dec 4) applicants, when should we expect interview invites? Any other international applicants here? I hope alumni interview in our countries are available (if I do get an invite) :)

Hmmm, did I just shoot myself in a foot by selecting interview date 2 weeks past R1 deadline, i.e. in 10 days?

How do you interpret twit from KF ad com below? I mean, decisions are final on February 8th, so what are they talking about? I'm freaking out a bit here. :?:

KFBS_Admissions: Just finished committee meetings for Round 1 applicants. Final decisions will be made this week. Decisions going out a week from today.

I think they are referring to the EA round applicants when they say "Round 1." I think that technically, the December 4th deadline was Round 2. I applied for the December 4th deadline and don't have my interview until January. I think you're right on track if you applied for the 12/4 deadline.

Thanks! I submitted my application on 12/4, but I filled out part 1 earlier and received an interview invitation at that time (Octoberish). And yes, I received the invitation via email. Good luck to everyone!

Hi all, I submitted my app at 11:56pm on 12/4 and got an invite for an interview today. Are others getting them already?! Any idea what % of applicants are offered interviews now that UNC doesn't do self-initiated?

Are folks that got interviews going to NC? I live up north and am debating whether I can sqeeze in a trip with the holidays, etc. But flights are pretty reasonable so I'm hoping I can swing it.

Haven't scheduled the invite yet. I have to figure out what I can make happen with my work sched.

I am not international, so I don't know if international invites have been sent.

ok, thanks!

Guys, I accessed my application and saw that they found 2 parts missing - official toefl and transcript of records from my first year undergrad. But weeks before submission I already confirmed with them via email that there's no need for me to take toefl since my university's medium of instruction was English. My first transcript was also in the first part of my 2nd transcript from my undergrad school. I even emailed them before the deadline about this and they confirmed receipt. But now they've flagged my app sa incomplete. I immediately emailed them to clarify this but they haven't responded :( Now I'm so anxious!

Do you think my app will be rejected or moved to the next round? I really wanna push for this round...

I submitted my full application on Nov 27 and received an interview invite Dec 11, so judging from what other people have written you might receive and invite the next day or possible a week or two after later.

Submitted my app on 12/4, interview invitation came 12/8.

I'm guessing it's automated based on GMAT and/or GPA. When I received my interview invitation my undergrad transcripts had not yet been received, and 1 recommendation was still incomplete.

Thanks Drew, Class2012. I just saw my app status as complete. No more missing items. KF also emailed me apologizing for the confusion and confirming my app is still in round 2. I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and pray I'll get an interview invite soon.

Hmmm, this is my status:

OTHER REQUIRED ITEMS - the following items are missing from your application.
Your application is currently being processed. Please check back in a few days.

It has been like that since I have submited my Part II few days before R1 deadline on Dec 4. Does that mean they are still missing something from me? I have sent all documents long time ago, expect for GMAT that I took only a week before the deadline, but they should have this now too.

I got invited for an interview about a week after sending in Part I, that did not have my GMAT score, only a resume, so process is not automatic. I have interview tomorrow, so that should complete my application. I ask them about this during my interview.
