Is it possible to get people's stats who were accepted? Also, could people say what round they applied for (and save us all some time from checking the original page)?

Only a few people who said they were accepted have their GMAT scores on their profiles, so a little more information could be beneficial in understanding what are the stats of a "typical" admitted applicant.

I was waitlisted unfortunately. I had a 710 GMAT and attended UNC-CH undergrad. Any advice out there for getting off the waitlist? I'm guessing my 3.0 GPA dropped me off.

Good luck to you as well. It's frustrating after putting so much work into something. I've been waitlisted twice getting into UNC before (in undergrad), you'd think I'm on some blacklist, haha.

If you login and go to the admissionsapp homepage, there is text at the top with a link to your decision. I haven't received an official e-mail that I was waitlisted or anything yet, but I can see the decision there.

I think there might be movement in the waitlist around Jan 4th since that is the deposit deadline for EA applicants.Good luck to both of you.

Nothing yet. I haven't received any emails from UNC, I only know I am waitlisted because I checked my status on their application page.

mdlindsa - what year did you graduate from chapel hill, and were you a business major? I graduated undergrad from there in '07.

I'm also wondering if anyone out there knows how long it takes to receive an interview invite - I submitted part I on nov. 30, and finished part 2 on the 12/4 deadline. I haven't received an invite yet, is it too late already?

I did graduate in '07, but I was not a business major. I was good friends with a lot of them though.

I'm pretty sure I got an invite before I even submitted Part 1 of the application...it said something like "you can choose your interview date as soon as you submit Part 1". But that might be an early action thing. It didn't seem like anything special, I hardly had any information in the application at all except for my first gmat score which was awful.

I'm also still waiting for my interview invite (if any). I submitted part 1 and 2 last Dec 4.
Did you hear anything from admissions? Do you know until when they'll be extending invites? I'm international by the way.
I heard they'll be interviewing 90% of applicants so I hope we'll be part of that...

i still haven't heard anything from admissions yet, other than that all parts of my application have been received and are ready for review.

3.38 gpa, unc-kenan flagler
710 gmat
2 years at hsbc, management training (company was closed down in april 09)
1 year exp mortgage banker for a local company
decent community service and leadership activities during and after college, but nothing spectacular

it sounds like a lot of people have already gotten interview invites, which has me worried - hopefully it'll be coming soon!
