My opinion is that, a 1.5 space and Calibri or any other standard font would be a good start. Unfortunately, the requirements are not clearly mentioned anywhere on the website. Please share if you contacted and heard anything from the Admissions.

Yeah. The formatting isn't available anywhere on the website that I could find. I was originally planning Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing. Might go 1.5. Not really sure. I'm also just assuming they want all the essays to be put into one single document, because that's the only way they're able to be uploaded into the USC application.

Called the admissions office this morning before I submitted - apparently they do not have a standard spacing, font, or size requirement. Therefore, I recommend Wingdings font, size 72, quintuple spacing. Kidding. I went with times new roman, 1.5 space, size 12. And yes, it's all in one big document.

I'm looking to apply Consortium Round 1, is anyone here going that same route? Also for Goals and Why USC essay, did you start each portion with "My short term goal is..." "My long-term goal is...", etc.? In writing my drafts so far, I answered and addressed all of these questions explicitly but didn't set it up with the same verbiage as above, instead I wrote a smooth flowing essay. Did you all do this, or did you write it more as a short answer response?

Hi guys, So did anybody hear anything back from Marshall yet? I know that it hasn't been too long since the R1 deadline, and it says the notification date is on 12/1, but just wondering if they meant they'll be sending out interviews until then, or they'll send out mass e-mail on that date.
