The game is over for me :) At least, I will not have to make a difficult choice between two schools.

Sorry guys...I think you may start seeing some movement on the wait-list again on or around May 23rd (read: people like me who matriculated at Wharton, but are still on the Stanford waitlist)

Gents,

Getting more and more excited with Wharton! Really looking forward to it now.

I secured a furbished studio in the Riverwest - dealt with landlord directly - quite happy with it. Who's living where? I saw that Elhajoui (gotta love that name in French! :-D ) was looking for a flatmate on etalk, did you find anybody el?

Didn't get any love finance-wise from the school though, bit disappointed :? How did you guys fare?

Will be arriving on July 27 in Philly round 11pm, with a massive jetlag - the international day is going to be tough :) Hope to see all of you guys there!

I'm excited as well, I've finalized on a place at the Wanamaker house. No love from the grant gods for me either, just a bunch of subsidized loans...should be in philly by the 20th or so. Congrats on finding a place audio, the Riverwest complex is fairly centrally located and i know a fair amount of second years living there. It's a pretty nice place.

I heard that the Wanamaker's brilliant, I think you'll be very happy there. Riverwest is not the best place, but I think it'll be ok (plus it's fully furnished, so no dreaded trip to the Ikea - priceless).

Applied for a 88k scholarship here in Belgium, and the interview went on pretty well, so fingers crossed there.

I'll see you at the international day! You live close to me, so I guess we'll go for a couple of beers together in the local pub! :-D

Hey guys!

I found a flatmate - I am living with a second-year MBA from Belgium in a beautiful brownstone on 18th Street.

Didn't get any $$$, but I wasn't surprised given that my MC firm is picking up the full tab. It'd have been nice to get pocket money though

Will see you all on July 28th I hope - VISA pending of course

If they have Duvel and Leffe blonde I'm your man! :-D Can't wait to be there.

Gonna start the VISA process today, what a nightmare that's going to be

Elha, what's the name of the Belgian student? Edouard?

PS: you Belgian too?

I lived for a couple years between 17th and 18th on Spruce. The Rittenhouse area is a GREAT place to live! If you want to try the $100 cheese steak sandwich (kobe beef and black truffles), go to Barclay Prime right around the corner. Or maybe wait until after you finish your MBA studies so you can afford it :P

Hey!

Well they have over 100 beers, mostly Belgians, so I am sure they have Leffe blonde :-)

Yeah the VISA process is hell...How long did it take ISS to process your I-20?

My roommate is a 2nd year belgian guy named Xavier V. Very cool dude, at Wharton on a Fulbright (sweet deal - free tuition).

I am not Belgian, but from a French-speaking country, so yes, I know my name is funny ;-)

I will be living at 18th and Pine - literally a block away from you!

Since we are quasi-twins (Wharton undergrad and all) we should definitely meet. Let's PM each other to get our respective email addresses

I know Xavier; if I was accepted at Wharton it's thanks to him, he helped me a lot with my essays.

I haven't sent my ISS application yet, will do it today. I hope I'm still in the right timing (I've already booked my flight, so there's no going back).

The whole process just doesn't stop in terms of administration!
