Hi all,

Was just browsing through Wharton's own interview tips and realized that they mentioned to bring your resume to the interview. I had mine on me, but my interviewer never asked for my it, and I didn't end up giving it. Is it protocol to give the interviewer your resume or do they usually ask?

Eagerly awaiting the results tomorrow!

For on campus interviews, they asked for it when you checked in before you went into the room with the interviewer

Or like the guy taking the bar exam with Marshall in How I Met Your Mother: "No! No! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

He then runs out of the room, still screaming.

Anyone see any on-campus interviews end that way? I assume it would improve our chances.

lol...

No one ran out screaming when I was there, but I did see something pretty odd. I interviewed on a Monday and it was pretty slow, only a handful of interviews going on at a time. This one guy came and checked in like an hour early. He looked really nervous and eventually got up and wandered out of the interview suite. I went to the restroom about 20 minutes before my interview started and I saw him on the other side of the building. Eventually, his interviewer showed up, checked in, grabbed his resume from the receptionist and went into the interview room. Right around the time his interview was supposed to start his interviewer reappeared in the waiting area looking around for him. 5 minutes pass. 10 minutes pass. Finally, as she is just getting ready to leave and go look for him, he reappears. I don't think he realized that he had narrowly avoided disaster... very strange...

Good luck to everyone!

on my applyyourself page, it now says under status "Invited to Interview" rather than "Complete - Round 1"

Did this happen to everyone?

Does it mean anything?

Mine also says "invited to interview" but to be honest I haven't been tracking that closely enough to notice if it said anything different earlier.

They probably updated the system with results... but "flagged" it as hidden for now. It's only a matter of checking a box for them to reveal the results.

That means our fate has been sealed... we will know for sure tomorrow. have at least some rest for exciting news tomorrow.

I wouldn't say that, some other calls will go out over the next few days. I'm not sure how they decide who gets a morning call tomorrow, but it's not over until you get your final status update.

Calls over the next few days? That's interesting... I thought we'd all know by the afternoon through the website? Well, at least I can keep myself from staring at the phone all day at work...

You will know (whether by call or status update), but we'd still like to reach out to admits to personally congratulate them, unfortunately it can't all happen tomorrow (we have finals!). I got a follow up call and email from a student a few days after my initial admission call and decision...just adding a personal touch.
