do accepted candidates find out about fellowships at the time of admission, or after? anyone know from the past?

From the Wharton website:

"Criteria for selection of awards may include academic achievement, compelling leadership, exceptional professional development, and unique personal qualities. There is no formal fellowship application; all admitted students are reviewed by the Fellowship Committee to identify and select the best recipients. Notification of fellowship support is then included with the admissions decision."

yep, i saw that on the website too. my question is not exactly that. i want to know if they are going to call you the day before, or the day of, or the following week, or you just find out when you check your status on friday?

It says "included with admissions decision"...i would assume that means you find out Friday. Though I've heard that they've historically called people who get fellowships slightly earlier then the emails, but who knows...

Random question about the interview "status" labels under the Wharton application portal (under "Events" --> "View Mine"):

My interview status just says "Registered" whereas I would think that after they received the report from my alumni interviewer it might change to "Completed" or something like that. Can any R1 applicants confirm if their status also reads "Registered" or if it's any different?

WAITING!!!!!!

Does Wharton call accepted candidates today? At what time will they release the decisions tomorrow? How?

They MIGHT call some candidates who will be receiving fellowships late today or early tomorrow, but historically not many people get a call so don't stress waiting for the call.

We will all receive emails tomorrow afternoon asking us to log on to our apps and a link to our decisions will be available (similar to the interview process).

Good luck guys! I was in your shoes last year and now that I'm part of the Student Host Committee at Wharton, I wanted to let you know that the school's trying to make admissions calls to students this year. (vs. last year, we only got a status update email to check the application website..extremely nervewracking).

FYI, since some of the students are making calls (starting tomorrow a.m. for domestic and some int'l tonight), you may receive a call with an area code other than 215, so make sure to pick up all calls. Also, we were told to finish our calls by 3pm tomorrow, since they plan to update the official notification ~4pm. I hope this provides some transparency.

I love this place so hope to see many of you here next fall!
