I know Arb said he has unequivocally confirmed with Adocms on the 50/50 invites. In any case, we started a discussion on W's official S2S blog and a current student will confirm this with adcom's today (in writing ).

Like many, I did not receive an invite. Good luck to all.

It looks like the response is up:

Hello All,

To clarify the issue, we released one batch of invitations on Feb 4th and the other is scheduled to be released on Feb 18th. This is not related to internatonal vs. domestic files. We will keep you posted if anything changes.

This may just be a bad coincidence that so few GMAT Clubbers were invited to interview. It may well be the case that loads of you are invited on Feb 18.

Alternatively, it may also be the case that the two batches are not 50/50. Maybe they only sent out a third of all invites. We have no concrete information about this.

Hell, maybe both situations are possible and all GMAT Clubbers are invited on Feb 18 :-D

Until Feb 18, keep your spirits high. They are still sending out many invites then.

Just thought of something that may be of interest to those who have LinkedIn profiles...

On my profile, I noticed someone 'from the higher education industry in the greater Philadelphia area' viewed my profile. Got the invite last Friday.

This could be an indication of interest? Just saying...

Just thought I'd mention, doing it on two days is actually a lot better then doing it in small waves daily over the course of two weeks. Now you don't have to think about it constantly wondering if this could be the moment that you get the email...you know it won't and you have to wait two weeks...I definitely preferred that to the way HBS did RD 1.

Reminds me of that "How I met your Mother" episode - Slap Bet, where Marshall gets to pick either one of following two:

1. Slap Barney either ten times immediately in succession
or
2. five times available to Marshall for all of eternity.

Yes, I would choose #1 if I were the victim.

Right, and if i'm not mistaken, there is still one more slap coming...

Wow that's actually sort of creepy - in a cool social networking 2.0 kind of way. You need a paid account to access that sort of data, right?

Actually, you don't have to pay for this. You have to pay if you want to see the actual name of the persons who looked at your profile...

Can anyone share the amount of days between interview invites and interview?

Hoping I'm lucky enough to receive an invite on 2/18, but am scheduled to be in China on business for the first week of March. Want to see if I should plan to shift travel dates.

Don't change your plans...scheduling the interviews is very flexible and you'll have a good amount of choice. You can probably do it within a week from receiving the invite if you wanted (especially if you're going to do it in Philly).

Interview dates were available as early as 2/14. It looked like Wharton was holding some dates for the 2/18 invites as early as 2/23.

I don't remember. MyWharton MBA notes that the last day for Round 2 interviews is Friday, March 4th.

Just got back from Wharton's Winter Welcome Weekend and caught up on all the blog posts since Friday...

Congrats to everyone who got interviews on Friday and to those who didn't...it really is random between the two days. I didn't get mine until the second wave went out for round 1. Anyway, I'm super pumped now to go back to school and good luck with the interview process....oh, and i recommend doing it on campus for those who can get to Philly without flying half way around the world...

I live in San Francisco and I've already done a campus visit. I scheduled an on campus interview later this month, but I'm starting to wonder if I should cancel (do you know if that's a possibility and whether it would be perceived in the negative) and schedule an interview with alumni instead? Thank you for any thoughts you can share!
