Congrats for those that received their invites yesterday! Out of curiosity, is there anyone interviewing next week? I believe the first R2 interviews are on Monday. Also - any other Lauder applicants with invites?

I have my interview on Feb 21st - both Wharton and Lauder. I'll report back on my experience, but I suspect it will be a behavioral interview with the same 6 question pool, or perhaps a slightly expanded question set. Best of luck to those with invites and those eagerly waiting! :)

I'm scheduled to interview late next week. I'm planning to spend some time this weekend practicing, but I'm not too sure what to expect. I'll be going through this thread looking for tips later today.

Good luck on your interview!

For those applying to Lauder or HCM (aka with two interviews), did you have to schedule major specific interviews first or did you schedule the regular interview via the online system first?

For Lauder, it doesn't matter. I scheduled my Wharton interview online first (I hadn't even heard about my Lauder interview at the time) and then emailed the Lauder Institute. The order you do the interviews doesn't matter either. You could even do it on different days if you want.

I'm a Lauder applicant too and got my invite on Friday. I'm trying to schedule an alumni interview for Wharton and I emailed Lauder about setting up the Lauder-specific interview.

Congrats! Good luck for your interview. I'm interviewing with a second year student on campus. I'm hoping the Lauder interview will be a little more conversational than the Wharton interview (assuming they use the R1 format again).

Guys- I spoke with an adcom last week. She confirmed that the interview would be behavioral. I did not specifically ask if it would be the exact same format as R1 interviews. Hope this is helpful.

I saw few people repeatedly mentioned the 6 Wharton interview questions. Does anyone know what are the 6 questions? I found 3 common behavioral questions from ClearAdmit:

1. Tell me about a time when you worked in a group to complete a task, which required you to consider the opinions or feelings of others.
2. Describe a time when you contributed to a team that didn't have a clear or appointed leader.
3. Explain a time when your ideas were challenged, when you had to defend your opinion and/or approach.

Anyone who could kindly help complete the above list? Or are the other 3 simply (1) resume walk-through, (2) why Wharton, and (3) why now?

Thanks!!

Yes, Lauder will be a little more conversational. Good luck!

BTW, good choice of program

Guys, can anybody comment on how many interview slots are left open in all regions? Just want to know how many interview invites we can expect this Friday (18th)... Cheers!

can the resume sent to the interviewer be different than the resume submitted with the app?

Does the admin committee also keep the resume sent to interviewer on file and compare it with the original?

My most up to date resume needs to have some changes..

This topic was touched on earlier in the thread (maybe around page 50-ish?). I believe the consensus was that you should bring your interviewer the most updated version of your resume (even if it has changed since submitting your application).

It's not necessary to send the AdCom any updates unless they are significant (promotion, new job, etc.)

Not at all. If you applied R2 you have until 2/18 to get an interview. My guess is that they will send out a large number of interview invites on Friday.
