No email here but I wouldn't expect to get an email because if you're on-campus you're interterviewing with a member of the admissions team, they hand deliver their report minutes after your interview to the check-in desk.

I interviewed with an alum, and my status still reads "Invited to Interview." Anyone else like that? Do I need to take any action to make sure my interview has been submitted?

No. The email for the invites clearly stated that we aren't supposed to do anything and they have systems in place to insure everything is delivered.

Yes, everyone in R2 has the same unchanged status. Per the Wharton email sent out to all that were invited to interview...

Wharton Interview Email
Your application status will change on the decision release date of March 24, 2011. There will be no intermediate status change, and your status will remain "Invitation to Interview" until the final decisions are released.Please note, you will not be notified that your interview report has been submitted and you should not contact your interviewer to make sure this has been done. We have a system established which ensures that all reports are turned in on time.

Anyone knows when and how Wharton conveys the final decisions? Any calls the day before? Email notifications?

Conveyed on the 24th. For first round, they called some admits in the morning and early afternoon and sent emails out around 9pm (they said they were going to at 4). They didn't call me so no call doesn't mean a ding. At around 7 pm, they box controversy emerged and those who were going to receive admits got an extra two boxes on their mywharton pages.

Can someone please tell me, at what point does Wharton provide their fellowship/ financial aid offers? Does it happen simultaneously with the Admit offer, or does it take some (how many?) additional days?

Per Wharton's financial aid page FAQ:

"If you are selected for a fellowship, you will be notified within your admission decision letter. You will also receive an Award Notification Letter (ANL), detailing the amount of the fellowship you have been awarded and loan you are eligible to borrow, via email shortly after you receive your admission decision. . If you are not chosen for a fellowship, the Award Notification Letter will only reflect your loan eligibility."

I didn't get money, so can't tell you for sure, but I can tell you that you receive the letter telling you about loans in the mail in the next couple of days after hearing (I live in NYC so it might have been quicker due to proximity). Not sure if there would be anything communicated on the 24h (though I seem to remember some people announcing during the admit day for the first round that they were admitted and received money...so you can go back through this forum and check around the 17th of December to see)

I received my wharton fellowship along with the decision. So the admission notification included a paragraph saying that they are pleased to inform me that I have also received a fellowship.

The letter about loan eligibility was received few days later and also included the same information about the scholarship once again.

So, apparently, the University of Pennsylvania sent out a video message to 200 "likely" candidates three weeks before the undergrad admissions notification deadline...basically telling them that they were very strong candidates and would get in.

I interview for Princeton undergrad and apparently that's becoming commonplace in college admissions (though I don't think Princeton is doing it yet)
