Same here, I haven't heard of any reception taking place. Where did you get that from?

When is the reception? I havent seen that in my agenda for the day.

It's in SF so likely only people that picked SF got the invite. It was from mbaevents@wharton.upenn.edu
I didn't get an agenda for the day so I'm assuming the Philly interviewees have more events scheduled than just the TBD and 1 on 1? Bc that's all I have scheduled

I'm interviewing on the 13th Philly and I did get some instructions on the events for the day but just the usual. Class visits, lunch with students etc..

Nothing about a reception or anything, but would be nice to have some sort of event after the TBD.

Cheers

I got an email from admissions inviting me to a reception. Flying out earlier to make it :D I believe it is only for the off-campus interviews??

I just set myself up for the worst schedule for my interview lol...

Have to host a session for work the night before my interview quite far from home (4 hour flight and in the middle of no where). The result is going to be a 2:30/3AM wake-up to catch a flight to Wharton on interview day haha, good times.

Hey Guys,

So i was lucky enough to receive and invite and have a quick question.

In years past I have read that their have been two prompts to prepare for, is everyone else only seeing one prompt for this year?

Thanks!!

Congrats to everyone who have an invite for the TBD. What resources are you guys using to prepare for TBD and the 1-on-1 interviews? I'm going pretty standard at this moment - Wharton website for TBD, and regular interview questions for the 1-on-1. Something specific I need to remember/do?

Good luck, everyone!

There were different prompts last year, one for each application round as far as I remember.

Within a given round I don't think that candidates were assigned different prompts.

So far this year we have only seen one across regions. I hope this helps.

Here are some tips we compiled recently: https://www.mbaadmissionsadvisors.com/wh ... interview/

FYI: we have a few slots still open for our Mock TBDs this weekend, including a 12pm noon mock TBD on Sunday (following requests from West Coast applicants)

FROM Wharton Admissions Blog: Round 1 Invitations to Interview
Last Friday we notified all Round 1 applicants about their interview status.  I want to thank everyone who applied as our team knows how much time, energy, and focus it takes to apply to B-School.  I’d also like to acknowledge and apologize for the technical difficulties that arose during the interview notification process.  We are conducting a thorough investigation and working with our vendor to resolve the issue and ensure that it does not happen moving forward.

We look forward to meeting many of you in the coming weeks either on-campus or in one of our off-campus interview locationsaround the globe. As always, please contact our office if you have any questions at 215-898-6183 or mba-admiss@wharton.upenn.edu.

Regards,

Maryellen Lamb

Deputy Vice Dean, Admissions, Financial Aid and Career Management
