I should have just taken the day off.... can't concentrate on much else anyway.

Anyone still to start their work day (people in Hawaii for instance) -- you might want to consider calling in sick or something... just a friendly advice ;)

Does anyone else see no spots for on-campus interview with AdCom? I have tried multiple options and it just says "no events available".

No, all gone. I am looking for Alumni interviews but having no luck there either -- no one bluddy replies! Is anyone else going through the same problem? How are you folks handling this?

Same here man, we r in the same boat....no one replies, and one just changed her location to a different city

I'm kinda freakin out a little bit as my schedule is very tight for the next two weeks. Donno if I should call Ad-Com and ask if a phone interview is an option?

Same here, two people (with really matching profiles) aren't replying -- third is out of the city. I have exhausted my 9 searches (so I have 6 more people to contact, but 2 of them passed out before 2000; too old). I took a chance and searched for a city 2.5 hrs drive away, so will contact the 3 names that popped up there (my city had only 6 alumni). I don't think you should even think about phone interviews! Just get it done somehow, or ask adcom members to put you in touch with someone themselves. I'll keep trying till 22nd and then go make a sad puppy-dog face to adcom so they take heart and take me in w/o interviews ;-)

So what's the deal here ... are these remaining invites trickling out from now until 5ish, at which point everyone else gets a "Check Your Status"/Ding email, or will that mass-notice also include many of the remaining invites?

From everything I've heard, R3 is only worthwhile if you are a STELLAR candidate without any obvious weaknesses (high GMAT, high GPA, good and/or unique work experience, great recommendations, what you think are really compelling essays).

Unless, for some reason, you have an extenuating circumstance that stopped you from applying R1 or R2 (e.g., military duty, sickness, family emergency), I don't think it's a great idea to apply unless you think you are super super competitive as a candidate and even then you have less of a shot than you would in other rounds, I would guess. Otherwise, it's a lot of pain and waiting and $$ to go through the process for nil, especially if you don't get in and would want to reapply in the fall--there won't be much time between your 1st app and your reapplication to "build your case" for why you're a better candidate now.

Those are my 2 cents, others may disagree.

Very likely that emails will arrive from now on and perhaps during the whole afternoon and throughout the evening.
It all depends on the machinery built on behind the operational team responsible for the handling of the 8000+ applicants this year.

Good luck everyone!!!

Do you mean the DING mail? or the invites as well? I guess there is always that ray of hope till the end.... human nature.
