There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I submitted on 10/15, application status still "complete".
I am a re-app from last year (R2) who was waitlisted through the summer and ultimately rejected.
Last year, I submitted on the last day of R2 and didn't get my interview invite until the second to last day...I don't think there is much correlation between submission date and when you get an invite...
Checking your email every 10 minutes (or 2 min) is probably not a good idea - there are 7 business days still...(I think Rose said the 12th was the last date.)
There is still a lot of time and if you look on the Wharton side, few people have received an interview. I guess it is just a matter of when your application is reviewed. I can't believe I am saying that... I am the first one to stress - still that's probably true
Guys I know that it's easier to say than do, but don't freak out about it, at least yet.
At least last year, we couldn't see a pattern of when you submitted your application and interview invitations, I really think that the process is not a FIFR (First In First Reviewed, kinda like FIFO in accounting).
Haha -- I am much more enthusiastic than it came across in the post, I assure you! To answer the question earlier -- I submitted on 7 Oct. I will post my profile this evening once I get home.
