Got my invite today too. Finally huge relief!! wish i had found this site earlier too.
Submitted on Oct 15th. Went Complete - I think it was 27th or 28th. I know the last rec went in on the 27th. Not sure when the status officially changed.
So does this mean that the GMATClubbers are so good or that Chicago is not very exclusive and invites more people than other schools?

I suppose there might be a little selection bias here -- some of us might prefer to lurk until hearing about the interview. That said, GMATClubbers seem to be very pleasant people--and accomplished too. I'll admit that, comparing myself to others here, I feel very mediocre.
Lots of people coming out of the woodwork on the day of their invite. I hope you guys all report back to us with news on how your interviews go and whether you get admits.
So far we have 30 interview invites for 38 applicants. Last year it was 19 for 22 applicants.
Does this mean that most weeding will be done in the second stage? If the % of applicants interviewed is the same (or close) to last year's % and there are more applicants, then a smaller % of interviewed applicants will get offers. I think the toughest competition is still ahead.
Does anyone know what's the procedure to send transcripts to Chicago GSB? Can't seem to find that on the application website. May be I am not looking at the right place.

You have them sent directly, they will match them up with your file. Or you can do what I'm doing and take sealed transcripts to your interview.
It should go without saying, but for those of you coming in for interviews, if you'd like to grab a coffee, let me know. Assuming I'm around, I'm more than happy to.

Goodluck to all Chicago BSB interviewees. I hope you guys don't pass on rhyme's offer. Imagine what rhyme can do on 30 cups of coffee in one on-campus interview day!
Seems like a pretty quiet day so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there is a deluge of invites in the afternoon (and one measly one out of them) is mine.
Also, I just read on Rose's blog that they will continue to send invites until 9am CST tomorrow. I believe someone had posted this earlier also.
So now a brief update on Round 1. For those of you waiting to hear back from the GSB about your Round 1 application, please know that we are hard at work evaluating your applications. It takes at least three people to read each file before a decision is reached, so it just takes time. If you have not been invited to interview, try to be patient. We will be releasing invitiations to interview until 9:00 a.m. on November 12.
Hey sigity, have you recieved an interview yet? I didn't think you had but on page 1 agold has said invited 11/10 against your name. Just wanted to confirm. Let agold know if it needs to be corrected.
If it makes you guys feel better, I'm also waiting around for an important call re a possible job offer. So I'm right here next to you, sweating it out with ya.
