typo..

So how did it suddenly change from 'verified' to 'not verified', I have no clue.

when i read your post, the first thought that crossed my mind was that this guy is in. Things screw up only for those people who are being looked at. I will tell you what my mind thought in the second that i read your post: the adcom decides they want to admit this applicant. does he have the official transcripts? cant find it, change the status to not received. You call, they search again. ah here it is. he had already submitted.. all is good with this guy.

It may be completely rational or irrational. it just goes on to show how desperate our minds are to decipher meaning out of anything and everything.

Good luck to all !!

This happened to a few Kellogg admits in R1, so I wouldn't say you are being irrational. The website showed that the transcripts were not received just before an admit. But the admissions office at Chicago already said they wanted to verify all transcripts and scores by Feb 27, so irrespective of our decisions, I think they are trying to complete our files. Or maybe I am just a pessimist ;)

Anyways, I found out why my score wasn't received by the GSB today. Apparently, they no longer receive hard copies of score report from GMAC. When we request a report to be sent, the admissions office can go to the website and directly print it out. Since I use a shortened last name(6l) instead of the longer(16l) one in my communication, it couldn't be found. Hoping that the issue is sorted out by tomorrow. As pandeyrav said, I will at least be under the illusion that they care about my file :)

Virtually yes, no interview invitation so far...

Anyway, I need to secure my place at UofC.

For the record, all admitted Brazilians I talked to are heading Chicago (6 total from 8 admitted, these other 2 folks didn't answer my e-mails). One was choosing K vs C, another Tuck, W, and C. So Yield among us will be high!

LOL! Yeah, just could not get myself to write one more application at that point (and my recommenders also stopped at 4 recs)... barely got Kellogg in (thank goodness I did).

Avi, I don't have photoshop, which is the problem... any other programs out there that will merge pictures for you?

GIMP dude! GIMP is the photoshop for those people who are too cheap to buy photoshop and too proud to pirate photoshop. I am one of them.
