Re: Calling Chicago GSB 2008 applicants [#permalink]
I believe they release them at the end of this month. I have found the best way to deal with the wait is to forget about it. Are you a current student?

I'm pretty sure waitlist decisions are out May 14th. And, I think pretty much all the communication I've received says that R3 decisions are also going to be out May 14th at 9 am CST.

Don't know if they are planning on calling this time.

Re: Calling Chicago GSB 2008 applicants [#permalink]
I have just sent the FRS asking my J1 status VISA, now waiting for UoC to make the paperwork so that I can face once again the guys at the Lisbon USA embassy, let's see what they tell me now that I made my decision

Talking about the GSB vs Sloan decision, I'm impressed. during both admit weekend, I met 6 admitted to both schools (some of them fellow Gmatclubbers) who were deciding, and all of them (me included) chose GSB !
I'm not sure if this is statistic relevant, or we 6 are points out of the curve, but anyway it was amazing that even a girl from Boston, who I assumed would naturally stay in Boston, decided for Chicago...

From what I can recall here the Kellogg vs GSB "fight" was favorable to NW, right?

Things are pretty wild at my job, and markets are getting uglier once again - the old "sell in May and go away". I accepted their offer of sponsorship of my MBA and I will work until the last week of June, then will travel around in July and prepare my things to move early August to Chicago. I'm already day dreaming with Chicago, thinking about what courses to take, where to live, etcc, However, these last 3 weeks were pretty intensive, almost as much as the application period - my wife had also some exhibitions which made me work for her on weekends, hehehe.

I hope to contribute more here and those who ask for essays review, please be patient, I'll try to do something until next weekend.

I am going to be so unproductive at work today. I've kept my phone right beside the keyboard.

My boss should've just let me "work from home". GTA IV might have kept me distracted enough.

Yeah, the most expensive school in the university! Next year it's going to be very close to $50K for just one year...

So, only 1 person on BW has reported a call and no one on here so far. And, they didn't even start calling until 5 pm EST. Seems like yield must have been through the roof this year. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow, but that's probably being too hopeful.
