Question for past admits:
For R2, they say we will find out about interview requests by Feb. 15th. Any idea on how they release them? All at once or as the apps are reviewed? how fast after we find out can we make an appointment for an interview, based on past interviewees? I am going to visit/interview at Kellogg middle/end of feb. and was hoping to visit booth/interview during this trip (if im lucky enough to get an invite. this whole discussion may be moot.)

any advice?

You can make an appointment on the very same moment you are notified. If you are planning a visit to Chicago, I would recommend you to visit the school on one day and Interview on the following one. It will definitely make it easier for you to build a Why Chicago which is more convincing

My application just changed to "Complete." (Submitted shortly before the deadline on 1/6.) I thought I was being soooo cool about this process but my heart just about leaped out of my chest when I saw the e-mail saying my status had changed. Sheesh. This is going to be a stupid few weeks.

congratulations to those guys who got the invites! how do you guys get the invites, do you receive an email from Booth or do you have to log on to the website and it tells you there?

Got an email saying that my application status had changed, and that I was invited to interview. Was also asked to log on to the ApplyDirect site to schedule an interview.

Hmm...I think everyone without an interview finds out on Feb 17...there's no reason to lose hope yet, though, because invites just started going out yesterday and will continue till Feb 17.

Here's what the "Chicago Booth Round Two Information" email that was sent to R2 applicants says:

The Admissions Committee will begin to release interview invitations on Wednesday, January 20th and will continue this process through Wednesday, February 17th. Look for an email that asks you to check your status via the Online Application System. If your status reads Invite to Interview, the Admissions Committee believes an interview will help us further evaluate your admission credentials. We will provide detailed instructions on scheduling your interview.

If you do not receive an invitation to be interviewed by the mid-decision date (February 17), you will receive your final decision on that date.

For R1, invites went out pretty much everyday...the fact that you didn't receive the invite on the very first day means nothing.

You could perfectly be invited to interview right on the deadline. Until Feb 17th you can get an interview.

Got invite yesterday at 9am. I am trying to schedule the interview with alumn but have not received response yet. Will wait until tomorrow to contact Booth though. Good luck to everybody!

I submitted 12/30, received interview invite 01/21. Will interview on campus on 02/08 (first date to interview for R2, I think).

I submitted on 1/6, got an e-mail on 1/20 "Your status has changed to "Complete". Nothing yet about interview. Should I be too worried? I have a Kellogg interview on 2/2. Although, since I got into Kelley, my stress levels came down to normal levels...

Congrats to everyone who's received an interview invite.

I thought I would be able to play it cool once apps were submitted, but now that invites are starting to come out and I haven't seen one, I can relate to all the nervous posts I saw during round 1.
