No call whatsoever. Should I still have hope? I mean, realistically? Would it be possible that they were not able to call everyone?

What a terrible day.

Yes, you should still have hope. I know for a fact that they don't get a chance to call everyone. I didn't receive a call in round 1 and found out by checking status on decision day. Just hang in there.

no call so far. i have to admit that it is a pretty disappointing day. the interview did not go as better i would have liked. it was a short interview than the specified 45 mins and the interviewer was interested in short and quick responses rather than the context information that i provided to help tell my story. adjusted midway as to the interviewers preferences. in my alum interviews with other schools, the interviewers preferred to hear the context information.

i know i would not have got top ratings in the interview. but alas, my experience with other schools so far has been that your app is reviewed holistically and strong interviews did not get me in. the worst part about being denied at schools like booth is that they do not provide feedback i guess. now i ll always be doubting whether it is the interview or my overall presentation that did not make the cut. some feedback would be nice to have in the case of it coming to a point where you have to reapply next year.

how was the interview exp. of other folks here

Thanks, SuperDewey. I really thought that I had a solid case. I'll try to do as you say.

Well to be honest I put in a lot of effort into my app and was sure I did a solid job. So no surprises when go the Int. Invite on 1/26.

For the Interview i got a lot of great tips from Rhyme,Sapphireka,Britguy and latammc (Thanks peeps  )

My Interview was just great. I hit it off with the Interviewer and we ended up completing each others sentences. There were a couple of moments when my Interviewer was "Wow, thats a really good point". The next day he sent me a mail wishing me Luck. So on the whole I was really upbeat and felt i stood a good chance.

But guess what, "NO CALL". Now i dunno if Interview was just eyewash and Booth just sent out the Invites to form a dead cohort...(Sorry if I am wallowing in self pity.I usually don't do that but this process hurts big time.)

So i am in the same leaky boat as you are my man. Waiting for the axe to fall.

Beside my crappy interview, it seems that Rose did not like my wonderful powerpoint presentation on which I spent so much time.
