Unplugged, I believe it changes at 9am CST. I can't wait for this to be over...but still hoping that I see the good news tomorrow. Bigger things have happened so why not wish for the best and put our wishes out there? right?

Good luck!

Add to roll call.. admitted +$$ round 1 waitlist-

26 y.o.
4 years WE (finance/accounting)
GPA 3.1 state school
GMAT 620
heavy EC

I didn't even apply to Booth but got caught up in all of the action on this thread. You sir are my hero for the rest of the day, the anomaly that defies all conventional beliefs on how an inherently subjective process is supposed to function. It's not just that you got accepted, but that you got not one but two $$ after being waitlisted.

Congrats!

Guys, has your status changed yet?

Not that I care whether it's a WL or ding, but it's good to have a final closure.

Agreed! I can't wait for this to be over. I'm going to have to have a rebound relationship just to fill the void in my life.

You and me both, buddy! I'm pretty sure my chances of acceptance are 1%, waitlist is 9%, and ding is 90%, yet somehow I am still holding out hope.

Basically, this Live Chat with admissions transcript is the only thing keeping my hope alive:

"The final decisions for round 2 will be released on the decision date, March 24th at 9:00 am. Everyone will receive an email prompting them to log in to the system to check their status. If time permits we may attempt to call the admitted students prior to 9:00 am release time. Keep in mind we are not always successful in reaching everyone prior to the decision release."

Does this means that they TRY to reach everyone? I'm sure they did not try to reach me ! I had my phone in the hands every single minute yesterday...

How do people find motivation to reapply to BS? ... Booth was a top choice for me and my back up plans are already down...

30 min to wait.....

I wonder if you have a better chance as a reapplicant - it shows commitment, right? Or quiet desperation and an unwillingness to accept reality ... I think I may fall in the latter category :)

12 minutes!!!

going thru the process multiple times, i dont think that you need to worry about whether your re-app is going to be considered favorably or unfavorably.

at the end of the day, it is your app that you put in along with the quality of the rest of the apps that matters whether you get in or not

we applicants spend so much time pondering whether this one thing or another will give us an edge or will put us at a disadvantage. but in the bigger picture of adcom evaluation, these things do not matter at all
