Thanks. Yup. Still have a chance. Anyway, I have offers from two other very good schools. So, if I cannot make it to INSEAD, will still be fine. That said, INSEAD is INSEAD.

I've been wait-listed at both INSEAD and LBS! I am in LIMBO hell. If purgatory exists, THIS IS IT! It's like I am in a never ending tumbling cycle in the dryer.

Belyok, thank you. I am really happy about Oxford no doubt. I think I am lucky in the sense that my focus is entrepreneurship so I am less reliant on the school's ability to get me into top firms for finance or consulting -- which means, school ranking, while an important factor, is not the most important factor. (if i were consulting focused, then i would have applied to more consulting schools, and vice versa for finance)

I did a critical examination of my LBS essays and realized that I DID NOT WRITE ANYTHING ABOUT MY CURRENT JOB ACCOMPLISHMENTS. I dont know how i let that mistake happen, but I guess that's what you get for applying to multiple schools in R1. I just wrote LBS admission committee a career update email yesterday (i had received an innovation award from the CIO of the US Treasury, for example -- and received a promotion to oversee a multimillion project literally days after R1 app deadline). So maybe that will help my place on the WL.

As for INSEAD, I may have to do the same thing. I'm going to read through the previous INSEAD WL threads now. Hope is slim for both schools (though not impossible) since most admitted candidates would likely attend.

dreamscomealive, I saw (I read through the 2010 and 2011 WL threads). What's your situation this year? I guess you reapplied (sorry this thread grew so much, it was hard to keep up)?

Hi everyone.
I have been quietly reading this forum since submitting the apps. Your posts have been insightful in every aspect, especially in the most difficult part at every stage: what next and what is happening? So today, I pushed my lazy *** to sign up and get a user name for the forum.

To be specific to the thread, I am INSEAD applicant from SEA and haven't heard back. Got the interview invite at the last minute and hoping to get the admission decision on Friday. Good luck all !
