Deep down the HEART of Indian candidates, there’s a desire of getting "USA CITIZENSHIP" , also the fact that their parents want to convey to the society that "our children study in USA". That’s why Indians are overrepresented in any applicant pool in the Western World - which is the GREATEST CIVILIZATION THE WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN.

Also, admissions committee of USA SCHOOLS IS VERY FAIR FOR INDIANS. Large number of Indians study in C / D tier colleges of USA. why should prestigious colleges be kind in such a scenario? Anyway the resources of any country are for it’s citizens. 60% class of any top tier USA B school will always comprise of domestic students. So called "Internationals" have to fight for the remaining 40%. Out of this 40% if Indians get 15% it’s not bad.

My profile is phenomenal, lit my interview still got rejected from UNC. Also, I’m smart enough not to apply to HBS, GBS etc. to get frustrated.

My math may be weak (jk not weak) but 15% doesn’t make anyone "over" represented. :)

Which school did you get into though? If UNC rejected you, any peer school do you any favours to admit you?

They have the GMAT Club WhatsApp group, the incoming students have a separate group from UNC KF and if I’m not wrong there’s a admitted students group in the community
