Just did my interview yesterday evening

Submitted application: October 7….. Got invited November 5

These are the questions she asked.

1) Tell me about yourself and your background

2)Why MBA?

3)What programs and resources at Kenan Flagler would you hope to take advantage of in order to shape your career towards the next steps?

4)Is there a particular project or initiative where you were uniquely proud of the end result?

( I had shared a response that spoke to a project i delivered even in the face of some resistance/obstacles)

5)What was your strategy in approaching those obstacles, in recognising the barriers that were in your way to introducing (the brand: Uber) into the market, and what was your strategy to overcoming them?

6)What do you see as the strengths that you possess that help you be successful in that role and in others?

7)I would love to know, what are you learning about yourself lately?

8) How do you judge how much more someone can take? (in response to 7 above, where i spoke about ‘learning to be more empathetic to people in my life;)

9) Is there anything else you were hoping to share today, that you haven’t been able to bring up?

10) Any questions for me

The interviewer was warm and friendly. She was listening for the most parts, and wasn’t jotting throughout the entire experience.

That’s about it.

My interview was equally challenging but the interviewer tried to interject with anecdotes to make it easier. Hoping for the best.

can anyone please do let me know what questions they asked you in your interview ?
it wasn’t really something you could predict in terms of structure. They sort of just picked a list of questions and asked them at any random time. Less conversational, and more direct.

Have family there, the triangle is beautiful, people are quite warm, and the weather is very good.

Hi guys,

Ended my interview few minutes ago with an adcom member. She was very warm and it was a very chill interview. The questions were:

1. Why an mba?
2. How will UNC help me get there?
3. TMAT you had to deliver bad news
4. TMAT you had to navigate a difficult situation
5. What is your greatest accomplishment?
6. What do you like and do not like about working in teams?
7. What 3 things will you want the adcom to remember about me?
8. Any other questions for her?

Also, for those who have interviewed, did you send a thank you note to your interviewer? and how did you do that since their email addresses weren’t shared?
