The Cornell Johnson may be a better fit for your goals. You are right that if you are looking to transition to a competitive field like PM, a one-year program offers you less opportunity (and time.)

Cornell Johnson also has the added benefit of the Cornell Tech campus. You could definitely leverage the resources there to make it work.

Yes, your UK/EU network would be stronger if you went to Cambridge but it's not like Cornell doesn't have an international name and that going there would prevent you from recruiting internationally. You would just need to organize your internship and full-time job search more diligently than if you were to be already based in the UK/EU.

Plus, you're getting $20K in scholarship money so that's not too bad.
