i was scheduled to take my online gmat yesterday, 9th of july. after going through the check in process, and did try successful system test several times. the proctor said she couldn't see me on the camera. we concluded that it was because i used a corporate laptoP, although the firewall has been turned off completely
so I got rescheduled for next day. so today, july 10th, i did with a new personal laptop. i went through the check in process exactly 30 minutes before test schedule, ran the system test 3 times before,
made sure all my windows firewall, windows security is off and anti-virus completely uninstalled. still today the proctor couldnt see me from the camera. in between that, i was told to restart my computer too, which i did, and re-log in to the onVUe but still my camera won't transmit to hers. so now i had to reschedule again to july 14th. i can't keep going on like this. can you guys help me figure out why this could arise again and again? how do i avoid this from happening again so i can finally complete my test?
also, is doing the test on a Macbook would be much better than a windows laptop? i've tried both times using windows. please help all the possible ways to avoid this? the proctor mentioned perhaps its my internet connection, but i did go through the system check and the internet was classified as fine and good to go all the time. i've checked my internet speed before, and its 48mbps (download) and 10mbps (upload). minimum requirement mentioned was 1mbps. i'm absolutely frustrated and devastated, and i hope to never encounter this again on my next scheduled test in 4 days. please help anyone!!!! thank you!
