Education is an integral part of society which helps students become responsible citizens. Sound education guarantees a student of a successful life. However, it is important for a student to recognise his field of interest in this education setup which enables him to identify his knack. It is the responsibility of educational institutions to persuade students not to pursue fields of study in which they are unlikely to prosper.
Colleges and schools have for long been a stepping stone for a brighter future. Students are uncertain of the field of study they want to pursue when they enter an educational institution. For example, a student who is a good vocalist but is opting for science courses and an aspiring scientist spending too much time in theatre rather than a research lab need support and guidance which would enable them to pinpoint the field in which they are likely to succeed. To benefit such students, educational institutions can help identify their talents and persuade them to follow an area of study which will be congenial and additive to a successful life.
If a student is enabled to figure out his field of interest with help from educational institutions he can make better a career choice and in extension, this leads to focussed individual. A student remarkably good in athletics directs all attention and efforts to his expertise, is bound to be successful in the sport.
An educational institution can however make a mistake in identifying the prowess of a student in a particular area and induce him in pursuing a field in which he is unlikely to succeed.
Educational institutions empower the youth to take wise decisions and have a prosperous and successful life. Hence, there is no doubt that the responsibility to convince students from pursuing fields in which their chances of success are infinite, lies with these educational setups.
