I am targetting a couple of MBA colleges at Canada for full time MBA to be starting on 2012 -- My initial choices are Rotman and Queens. I am currently in IT consulting and wish to work in Toronto after my MBA in management consulting/product-management. Can anyone please guide me which one will be better to pursue my career-choice?

I think Queens is one-year course. Is it good for career-changers ? Can anyone please put any updates on the same ?

I think the best MBA program in Canada is probably York-Schulich. It was ranked #9 in the latest Economist global rankings Oct11'.

In Canada, education is very regionalised. That is, many companies recruit primarily from schools in the same city or region. You probably need to take this into consideration.

Why is it better than Ivey, Rotman or Schulich? I heard the school is good, but the best???

"Best" for MBAs are very relative. You should create your own internal ranking system. Sure, use external rankings as a starting point or a point of reference, but do not rely on them without really knowing their methodology.

My ranking system had to do with ROI, location, class size and diversity, and how strong the career center is in my target post-MBA industry. Yours may be different.

Good luck.
