Thank you. That’s a refreshing view.
Would you be interested in volunteering to lead this initiative or perhaps this group here can donate some funding to compensate you for the time and effort spent on developing a framework or approach?
Otherwise I am going to wait until someone else steps up or shelf this initiative until better times.

bb,
Thank you for the proposal. However, due to my full-time work and ongoing GMAT preparation, I don't believe I can fulfill the responsibility adequately. Therefore, someone more capable should be entrusted with this role.
Additionally, while I acknowledge the extensive experience of everyone involved in the process and their ability to create a framework, I would like to propose the following as a student:
I. Define the main objectives of the GMAT Tutor Program:
As previously mentioned, the program's main objectives can be divided into two parts:
1. Ensuring students can easily access reliable answers to every question.
2. Accurately identifying the experts, which will instill confidence in students regarding the posted answers.
II. Determine the participants in the planning and execution:
It would be reasonable to include at least three tutors, three students, and three members from the GMAT Club team. GMAT Club can conduct a survey where interested individuals can nominate themselves. To ensure transparency, three tutors and three GMAT Club team members should be randomly selected. Additionally, it would be appropriate to choose three active students from the forum.
III. Establish an agreeable framework:
Identify the most effective way for GMAT Club to collaborate with experts and students to create unbiased criteria for identifying individuals as experts. Furthermore, implement a profile verification initiative to prevent fake kudos. Only verified kudos should be considered for key performance indicators, similar to verified GMAT scores.
IV. Implement the framework:
GMAT Club can identify as many tutors on its platform as possible and provide them with the terms and conditions, while also posting the details on a common forum. Alternatively, a survey can be conducted where tutors interested in obtaining an expert tag can provide their information, and GMAT Club can proceed accordingly.
V. Gather feedback and make revisions:
Collect feedback from participants and make necessary revisions based on their input.
Now, let's consider the benefits of this approach:
1. Only tutors genuinely interested in obtaining an expert tag will be considered, eliminating bias towards specific tutors.
2. Involving the mentioned stakeholders in the decision-making process will maintain transparency in the criteria and eliminate bias.
3. Expert tutors will receive recognition for their contributions to the community.
4. Students will have a reliable source of answers.
5. Similar to the inclusion of school names and GMAT prep companies in the forum's new post dropdown, the names of expert tutors can be displayed, facilitating easier access for students.
I understand that the individuals involved are highly experienced in the workings of GMAT Club. However, I wanted to offer these suggestions. I am confident that GMAT Club will ultimately achieve its initial goals. Good luck!
