I recently received an Email from GMAC from their Customer Care Team:
Dear,
We are writing to inform you that due to a technical issue, your cancelled score from a previous appointment was sent to the program(s) listed below in error. This issue has been resolved. The program(s) listed below have been notified, and your cancelled score has been removed from their system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. GMAC remains committed to maintaining the high validity, integrity, and security of candidate exam scores. Please do not hesitate to reach out to GMAC Customer Care if you have any questions.
Programs:
Bocconi University - Bocconi Graduate School
Cornell University - Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration
London Business School - London Business School
London School of Economics and Political Science - London School of Economics and Political Science
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - MIT Center for Real Estate
University of Wisconsin - Madison - Wisconsin School of Business
WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management - WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management
I view this "technical issue" as a grave mistake that could greatly affect applications. I've contacted their Customer Care Team for details on when the incorrect scores were sent and how promptly the issue was resolved.
I'm curious to know if any other GMAT takers have encountered similar notifications.

PS. This should not really impact you. As schools don’t usually save these scores or record them
