Good day!
I am seeking advice from you all about switching careers. I am currently a practicing physical therapist and have been pretty underwhelmed with my job, and have looked into switching into healthcare management. I am in the DC area and have been accepted into 2 programs (Johns Hopkins and American U.) flexible programs and am also waiting to hear back from Tepper online program. I am currently wondering since I am wanting to switch into Healthcare Management or even into Management Consulting with a specialty in Healthcare, should I apply for full time programs instead. My reserve is not wanting to give up my salary and benefits, but I also don't want to set myself up for failure by not being able to participate in recruiting and networking. I do plan to take some classes in person and take advantage of clubs, events, etc..., but I am in uncharted waters and need advice. Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide. I am also leaning heavy towards JHU (I understand no ranking yet) but want to take advantage of its healthcare network and footprint in the area. (any advice on this choice is accepted as well.
