Hi all
I am an Indian male working in IT Sales. I wish to pivot my career into a consulting role with an MBA. Delighted to inform I have been selected to the following programs:
1. Carlson (70k scholarship)
2. UCI Merage (47k scholarship + guaranteed TA)
3. Katz (52k scholarship)
I'm in a bit of dilemma because although Carlson is the highest ranked and providing the highest scholarship amount, the signature MBA is not STEM designated. I've written to the admissions team about how I could transfer to the STEM track, but awaiting a response.
Merage has a lucrative offer on the table with the scholarship+ TA but I'm concerned about the lack of consulting opps post MBA, although I can consider a career in Product strategy roles as well. I've also asked them if there's scope to increase the scholarship, and I'm awaiting their feedback on the same.
Katz has refused extra $, but has agreed to admit me to the STEM track. Again concerns regarding the school getting overshadowed by Tepper et al in the placement discourse, especially for international students.
Would really appreciate any help on making a decision between these 3 schools.

Carlson: T 30ish school with 70k
Other two: T50 ish school with ~50k.
Value here is no brainer for Carlson, but stem adds something.
Stem only means that you have more time until you get a visa sponsored work, and 95% of Carlson graduates got job offer within 3 months of graduation.
If you believe you're bottom 5% when you go to Carlson and will have difficult time getting post MBA job, STEM sounds better to me.
Merage shows 66% employment rate within 3 months and Katz doesn't show but job report implies 58~63% past 5 years.
Question really comes down to : Do you think you'll be in bottom 5% in Carlson?
Keep in mind that those 5% could have wanted a vacation for 3 months after MBA or already has a family job secured.
Other two: T50 ish school with ~50k.

Thanks for your reply massan.
I was able to get an additional 5k in scholarship from Carlson and was also able to convert my application to the STEM track. With this new update, I am comfortable joining Carlson.
