Hi, For the deferred enrollment program, my recommender submitted the letter 4 hours after the application deadline. Will CBS still consider my application? Does this hurt my chances?

The CBS website says required materials must be submitted within 2 weeks of application submission. As long as your application is now considered complete, I think you will be fine. From what I understand CBS does rolling admissions, so the later you submit your application the later they would review it, but I'm not sure if this would significantly impact your chances. Thanks for the response! The deferred enrollment program is not rolling admissions. I thought the required materials had to be submitted within 2 weeks of the application submission AND before the deadline. If anyone has more insights on this, please let me know. Should I email their admissions team to check-in and make sure my application will be considered?

Generally, schools understand that recommendations are based on a third person. So, there is a chance that they may still accept your application. Of course, it is always ideal if you are able to complete everything in time. Best, just check with the school.
