GSB is probably the best school in finance and economics. Most of the prominent financial economists are product of GSB. It is equally good in accounting and ststistics as well.

GSB is my dream school.

Its a very important question. I knew people who shifted their fields after they graduated from Chicago and from Ross too.
My only concern is that whether Chicago School would allow PT students to participate in the placements along with FT students. I know Ross welcomes, but am not very sure about chicago.

In general is Chicago more or less selective than the other Ultra Elites?

What are the avg stats for Chicago?

GMAT?
Undergrad GPA?
Work Exp (years)?

Would the following profile be competitive?

-610 GMAT
-3.4 GPA (non-target public school)
-3 to 4 Years in Sales division of 3rd Largest Mutual Fund and Asset Management Company.
