I am trying to decide between Booth and Sloan EMBA programs.
I am an Engineering Phd with 10 years of experience in Petrochemicals and currently with one of the largest integrated energy company. Spent most of my time in Product management/development and moving to Business/Commercial side of the organization.
While Booth EMBA is a much established, rigorous and top ranked program with focus on general management/finance, MIT Sloan is a comparatively newer program but highly selective with general management and hands on focus. I'm leaning towards MIT due to its worldwide reputation and connection to the engineering school where I already have collaborated on several energy projects. All my mentors suggest Chicago Booth since it has a slightly better reputation than Sloan when it comes to an overall business school.
Appreciate any help from the experts here. I'm really torn here since these are ideally both top notch Universities.
