Hi there,

I have to choose between Stockholm School of Economics and University of St. Gallen.
Msc in Finance. Non-EU, non-native English speaker. (couldn't speak German or Swedish)
I like both schools (prefer HSG), but I got a scholarship which covers all my cost in SSE.
Well, the cost does matter to me, although I could afford the study in St. Gallen (borrow money from my parents).

Could you please give some advice? (Or the difference between SSE and HSG, especially on the reputation in EU)

Thanks a lot.

congrats. What are your short and long term goals?

I think Mo2men is right. What are your short-term and long-term goals? Do you want to stay in Europe? Do you plan to go back to your home country? Do you want to work in the DACH/Nordic region? Are you willing to learn German/Swedish?

Personally I only applied to SSE but I was strongly considering HSG. I got the impression that HSG is more well-known in continental Europe than SSE. You might want to find the relevant threads/facebook groups and ask students.

That really depends on what you want to do afterwards and where, as the school recognition varies depending on the area, even within Europe, so could you please elaborate a bit on that?
One thing I can say for sure, though and that is to not only look at the cost as that should really not be the deciding factor.

Hi,
I am in the same position as you were. May I ask where you ended up going?
