Congratulations, I got an admit too. There is very little chatter about this program for the spring 2025 intake. Little worrying lol

You are right to be worried about this program. Did you read the reviews? 2023 class of 50 still has 10 jobless and 5 more working for random consultants to stay in the United States. Few people left for India already. It is a very Indian heavy program. Did you speak to the any alumni, strongly suggest you do. The program is very questionable, heard the program for director Brad is desperate. Please vet heavily before joining.

Guys is CMU MSPM worth it, hearing negative feedback on ground from alumni. Please provide your feedback or any interaction with the program.

I got in for R2 but nervous to accept the offer. Any inputs would help please inbox me.

Narenn how was your interaction with Brad Eiben and his team in May? I have heard negative comments about him. Your inputs would help. Alums told me he doesn’t help with job placements and is. pretty much irresponsible towards the program despite he getting harsh feedback.

@ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job market is really tough from Aug 2022 onwards, which is felt by the students across the programs & universities and who were able to find the jobs as well. So I dont think the program itself is questionable, its the US overall job market which haven't recovered and hence, you might have came across news about continous layoffs happening from 2022 onwards. This are my views based on the conversation I had with current students, alumni's of the MSPM program and other program as well. Fell free to share your insights as well

I heard it is by and large an immigration program with not much help from program heads nor peers making it more challenging in an already challenging job environment. Some have done well after immense struggle but through self and not the program directors. Even the curriculum was criticized and some teachers as being outdated and rudimentary. Seems like a sinking boat. Carnegie brand name is the carrot. No other university in America or the world offers a full time Product Management course which makes me question my decision to join.

I am looking at other Unis and do not mind a Tepper MBA but no MSPM. I wish you luck if you did make the deposit.
