Which of the following, if true, would provide additional evidence in support of the claim above?

A) A majority of students attending colleges in Tycho City are business majors.

B) The State College in neighboring Twyla Township has recently improved its business program by adding courses in business writing.

Which of the following, if true, would provide additional evidence in support of the claim above?

A) A majority of students attending colleges in Tycho City are business majors.( Argument is about graduates not about current students)

B) The State College in neighboring Twyla Township has recently improved its business program by adding courses in business writing.( Neighbouring township is irrelevant)

C) Most Tycho City college graduates move outside the Tycho City after they graduate. ( What if they move out of city, they may not be able to write a business letter)

D) Most Tycho City college students live in on-campus dormitories.( Irrelevant)

E) The majority of college graduates living in Tycho City received their college degrees from institutions located in Tycho city.( strengthen)

Will go with choice E

Thanks

E) The majority of college graduates living in Tycho City received their college degrees from institutions located in Tycho city

This strengthens by stating since majority of student of T has received degree from T colleges, therefore as stated in premise majority of student of T were not able to write business letter..
So these students won't be able to write and hence fail in business world

Will go with E
Because colleges have not failed if these graduates were not graduated from these colleges

POE:

A) Whether a student is a business major has no impact on the claim that colleges in tycho city have failed to prepare students for the business world. Any major can have a class that teaches how to write a business letter

B) Them just adding a business program course has no impact. Also the state college is not in Tycho city... so not relevant

C) This actually weakens the statement, since its saying none of the graduates in the city actually attended tycho city college. This introduces the possibility that tycho city college ACTUALLY does prepare students for the business world.

D) Irrelevant. Living on-campus has nothing to do with the claim.

E) This is the correct. If most students received their degrees from institutions in tycho city that connects the GRADUATES living in the city to GRADUATES of tycho city college. Hence the graduates of tycho city are the ones who are not prepared for the business world.

I believe E is correct
