Oh Yeah it is B.... B again

The correct response is B. The solution offered in the passage
assumes that reducing fishing pressure alone will be sufficient to
return cod populations to their former levels, ignoring the
possibility of other factors such as pollution.Since B best describes
the assumption behind the solution above, choice B is the best
response. None of the other choice list assumptions of the solution.

B again

The conclusion drawn in the passage is that a person with a cold
cannot improve his health by taking antibiotics. According to the
information given, it is reasonable to conclude that a common cold
cannot be cured by antibiotics. However, some cold sufferers may
experience secondary, simultaneous infections which are caused by
bacteria. These persons could thus improve their health by taking
antibiotics, even if their colds are not cured. Thus, the conclusion
depends upon the assumption that the cold sufferer has no secondary
infections caused by bacteria. Since this assumption is stated in
choice B, B is the correct answer. The conclusion does not depend
upon any of the other assumptions listed.

Common colds are caused by a family of rapidly mutating viruses
known as rhinoviruses . Antibiotics , medicare often prescribed by
doctors for their patients with bad colds, are antibacterial agents.
Since antibiotics are only effecitve against bacterial infections, we
can conclude that a cold sufferer cannot improve his health by taking
antibiotics.

The conclusion drawn in the passage above depends upon which of the
following assumptions?

a. The cold sufferer has not received the seasonal flu vaccine.
b. The cold sufferer has no secondary infections caused by bacteria.
c. The cold sufferer has been unable to cure his cold by means of
traditional remedies such as liquids and bed rest.
d. The symptoms of the common cold, such as fatigue and joint aches,
are caused not by the virus , but by the body's response in fighting
off the virus.
e. Antibiotics require several days to begin taking effect.

Looking at it now, B makes sense
