Complex process that does not have to be followed & attention to detail. Note the difference between Value and Output. If you try to come up with output, you will be chasing it for a long time. I can definitely trick one under the time pressure)

Trends do not have to have all members fit the pattern, as long as the majority fits the pattern of a trend, it is acceptable. Note that the overall trend is displaying a negative correlation but not every data point
