Re: Comparable worth is a concept that rejects the premise of a [#permalink]
Here is my thought process for the answers:

3. B due to use of the words "attacks," "campaign," and "battle"
5. E "more objective" means "less sex-biased" because purpose of comparable worth is to attack inequality, primarily between men and women, as stated in the opening sentence of the passage.
6. C the "the [broader] debate is about the social values and priorities... and... market where... conventions and political... forces enter the process of setting wages"
7. D this is what the passage talks about: using using job characteristics to determine wages instead of the biased process in place today
8. A "radicals have been reluctant to fight for it because they see the narrow presentations in comparable worth litigation as the limits of the concept" big idea: radicals think it's too limited
9. C I used the process of elimination, and C was the best answer. (The author isn't criticizing experiments, talking about research, or talking about geophysical things, or talking about the moon (lunar)). C could fit.
