Computer companies whose warranties cover accidental damage, such as a broken screen caused by dropping a laptop, receive three times as many requests for fixing accidental damage as computer companies whose warranties do not cover such damage. Nice question, somehow got this one correct

Correct, the first is under argument in the passage, the second tells why one conclusion is wrong

E. The first is a finding the accuracy of which is in discussion throughout the argument; the second is evidence that supports the accuracy of the finding.
the second argument does not supports the accuracy of the first one, in fact it opposes the accuracy of first argument

The first part is an evidende or a find; the second one is a claim or conclusion of the argument.

The first one is somehow support the second one

What is the difference between finding and evidence? They sound like the same thing

why ?

Obviously, when company warranties do not cover accidental damage, customers do not have as much reason to request repairs from the same companies from which they bought their computers.

the first part is merely a fact whose causes are in debate

Here's my reasoning if it helps anyone:

A) The first bold portion is not offered as evidence to support the conclusion. It's simply a statement.

B) The first bolded portion is neutral. There is no supporting or attacking in this sentence. It is simply a re-iteration of a fact.

C) The argument does not provide additional evidence. The conclusion is also not based on the first statement.

D) Correct

E) The accuracy is not being debated in the passage.
