Hi Gmatclubbers and Experts,

I am glad that I am done with the GMAT and, currently, I am working on my applications.

I would like to know your suggestions regarding how best to connect to the alumni and current students of my target b-schools.

Firstly, I have to tell that I have shooted some mails to connect to a few current students at three of my target schools. However, I have not received any response from them even after 4 days. So, I was wondering if this delay is unusual. As I come from a client-servicing background, I find this unacceptable. But, I do understand that the current students might be busy in their schedules. Did some of you have similar experiences?

Secondly, I want to know the answer to: how current students look at such mails from prospective applicants? What do they hate in a mail from a prospective applicant?

Thanks

Willingness is always there but its often not possible for everyone to keep up with cold calls. MentMo provides easy access to students or alumni who are willing to spend time with prospective students. Let us know your target schools, we'll be happy to connect you to the right folks.
